Function.

The function of the board is to make informed decisions on appeals within the scope of its jurisdiction arising from implementation of the Growth Management Act, Shoreline Management Act, and State Environmental Policy Act, in a clear, consistent, timely, and impartial manner that recognizes regional diversity.
