What are transportation services?
Transportation services provide reimbursement to a provider when the transportation is required and specified in the person-centered service plan. This service is available in all DDA HCBS waivers if the cost and responsibility for transportation is not already included in your provider's contract and payment.
(1) Transportation provides you access to waiver services, specified by your person-centered service plan.
(2) Whenever possible, you must use family, neighbors, friends, or community agencies that can provide this service without charge.
