The employer must make sure all electrical wiring and equipment in the vapor area is approved for areas that have:
(1) Deposits of easily ignited residue;
(2) Explosive vapor.
Exemption: | This does not apply to wiring that is: |
1. In rigid conduit, threaded boxes or fittings; | |
2. Has no taps, splices, or terminal connections. |
