What kinds of services can the division of child support provide?
The services provided by the division of child support include, but are not limited to the following:
(1) Receiving payments and distributing the payments (see WAC
388-14A-5000);
(4) Referral to the prosecuting attorney for establishment of paternity;
(5) Providing locate services as provided in WAC
388-14A-1035;
(6) Referral for welfare to work services in conjunction with other parts of DSHS, the employment security department (ESD) and private contractors;
(7) Cooperation with the IV-D agencies of Indian tribes and other states, and the central authorities of other countries (see WAC
388-14A-1060); and
(8) Providing any other services allowed by the state plan and applicable state and federal law.
