Effect of administrative actions and resulting legal proceedings on any civil action by employee.
Regardless of whether the prior administrative action was between the same or related parties or involved the same facts, any finding, determination, conclusion, declaration, notice of infraction, or determination of compliance (collectively called "administrative actions") resulting from a complaint by an employee against an employer to the department under chapter
49.76 RCW and these rules is neither conclusive nor binding in any civil suit by an employee against an employer. Such administrative actions are actions by the director, an appeal tribunal, an administrative law judge, or a reviewing officer, to include a member of the judiciary upon judicial review under chapter
34.05 RCW.
