Applied behavior analysis (ABA)—Purpose.
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) assists clients and their families to improve the core symptoms associated with autism spectrum disorders and intellectual or developmental disabilities for which there is evidence ABA is effective, per WAC
182-501-0165. ABA services support learning, skill development, and assistance in any of the following areas or domains: Social, behavior, adaptive, motor, vocational, or cognitive.
