Construction—1947 c 246: "The increased benefits and compensation authorized by this act shall not be applicable to a case of death, or injury or aggravation thereof, occurring prior to the effective date of this act." [1947 c 246 s 2.]
Construction—1923 c 136: "For all cases of injuries to workmen which occurred and for all claims or actions pending or causes of action existing before this act shall go into effect, Sections 7673 to 7796 of Remington's Compiled Statutes of Washington shall continue in force as they were prior to and they shall be unaffected by the passage of this amendatory act." [1923 c 136 s 20.] The internal references refer to the entire industrial insurance act as it existed in 1923.
Construction—1919 c 131: "For all cases of injuries to workmen which occurred before this act shall be into effect Sections 6604-3, 6604-5, 6604-6, and 6604-10 shall continue in force as they were prior to and they shall be unaffected by the passage of this amendatory act. The amendatory provisions of sections 2, 4, 5, and 6 of this act shall apply only to injuries occurring after they shall go into effect." [1919 c 131 s 9.] The internal references to prior compilations refer to such sections as amended in the 1919 act by sections 2, 4, 5, and 6 as repeated in the last sentence of the above quotation.
