This chapter establishes facility design and operation requirements for the use of dental X-ray equipment according to chapter 70A.388 RCW. The scope of this chapter pertains to dental intra-oral and extra-oral radiography and establishes radiation safety requirements for patients, dental employees, and the public; and establishes optimal diagnostic image processing requirements.
