A student subject to interim withdrawal may be assisted in the proceeding specified in WAC 516-28-030 by a family member and a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist or a member of the faculty or staff of the university. Furthermore, the student may be accompanied by legal counsel, whose role will be limited to providing legal advice to the student. Students will be expected to speak for themselves whenever possible.
