Pursuant to chapter 42.17A RCW, candidates, political committees, and other persons participating in elections are subject to reporting requirements with the public disclosure commission. This chapter provides information on how to meet those requirements. To provide the public with full and immediate disclosure, electronic filing is required where the commission has provided an electronic filing method. The executive director may waive the electronic filing requirement and allow for the use of another written format based on a filer's lack of technological ability to file electronically.
