Does a facility have a responsibility to report incidents involving residents?

Any facility that has an ICF/ID contract with DSHS must immediately contact their DDA regional services office regarding unauthorized leaves, disappearances, serious accidents, or other traumatic incidents effecting a resident or the resident's health or welfare.
