Must supervisors of domestic violence program staff have specific experience and training?

Supervisors of staff providing supportive services to domestic violence clients must have the following minimum experience and training requirements prior to being hired as a supervisor:
(1) At least two years of experience providing advocacy to victims of domestic violence within a domestic violence program; and
(2) A minimum of fifty hours of training on domestic violence issues and advocacy within three years prior to being hired as a supervisor.
