The department uses CARE to assess your characteristics. Based on this assessment, the CARE tool uses the following criteria to place you in one of the classification groups:

(1) Cognitive performance.

(2) Clinical complexity.

(3) Mood/behaviors symptoms.

(4) Activities of daily living (ADLs).
