Data provided on a paper-based form is keyed into the system exactly as it appears without regard to apparent errors. Data provided in electronic form is transferred to the information management system exactly as submitted by the remitter. The UCC information management system will not recognize characters outside the ANSI character set as described in WAC 308-391-101. The filing office may determine alternate characters or letters for nonstandard characters and will post these alternates on the website.
