(1) All gear and equipment provided by you for rigging and materials handling must be inspected before each shift and, when necessary, at intervals during its use to ensure that is safe. Defective gear must be removed and repaired or replaced before further use.

(2) The safe working load of gear as specified in WAC 296-304-07003 and 296-304-07005 must not be exceeded.
