In accordance with chapter 18.108 RCW, effective July 1, 2017, all references to "massage practitioner" in this chapter mean "massage therapist." After July 1, 2017, all individuals licensed to practice massage therapy under chapter 18.108 RCW will retain the title of massage practitioner until their next license renewal but will remain subject to the provisions of this chapter.
