Definition—Accredited institution of higher education.

As used in this chapter, "accredited institution of higher education" means an institution of higher education that has been accredited by a national or regional accrediting association recognized by the Washington student achievement council and the secretary of the U.S. Department of Education pursuant to WAC 250-61-050.
