Vocational rehabilitation services—Transportation.
(1) Transportation services for travel and related expenses may be authorized if necessary for an applicant, eligible individual, or participant to receive any vocational rehabilitation service.
(2) Transportation may include:
(a) Fares or travel costs associated with using public or private vehicle;
(b) Food and lodging while in travel status;
(c) Wages, travel, and related expenses for a driver, attendant or aide if the services of that person are necessary for the individual to travel;
(d) Relocation and moving expenses, if necessary for securing a competitive and integrated employment outcome.
(3) Transportation services shall be provided only after consideration of comparable services and benefits in accordance with WAC
67-25-283.
