Choice and manner of leave allowed.
(1) An employee may choose to take any of the following types of leave under these rules:
(a) Unpaid leave; or
(b) Paid leave, including sick leave and other paid time off; or
(c) Compensatory time.
(2) An employee may choose to take leave, whether unpaid or paid, in any manner as follows:
(a) Intermittent leave; or
(b) Leave on a reduced work schedule; or
(c) In a single block of time.
